Bringing Lu Xia He Yi Healing Sanctuary to New York: A Journey of Unity, Healing, and Compassion

Updated: Jul 2

New York is home to millions of people from every culture, faith, and background. Yet many experience emotional stress, anxiety, trauma, and isolation. My vision is to bring the Lu Xia He Yi Healing Sanctuary to New York—a welcoming space where people can find emotional healing, inner peace, compassion, and community regardless of race, religion, or background. With a heart free of division, I'm inviting New York to join in creating a sanctuary where every soul can rest, heal, and rediscover inner peace.

Hello, I'm Melissa— a native New Yorker and heart-centered educator

For as long as I can remember, I've been deeply inspired by New York's founding spirit: a city that embraces all races, honors every culture, and cares for every person with boundless compassion.

In this place where the world gathers, prejudice is rejected, barriers are broken, and the dignity of every resident is protected. That vision of unity across races and that spirit of universal love have moved me — and healed me — more than I can express.

My Journey from Los Angeles to China, Singapore and Back to New York

I've spent years working in the field of spiritual and emotional healing. I've witnessed the Lu Xia Healing Center grow and take root in Singapore — a city whose harmony across diverse communities taught me a profound truth:

Human suffering does not distinguish between race, culture, or belief. No matter where we are, everyone longs for peace. Everyone seeks release. Everyone wants freedom from emotional pain and mental exhaustion.

Understanding New York deeply has only strengthened my vision. This city is a microcosm of the world — bringing together people of every ethnicity, faith, and cultural background.

Yet beneath its vibrancy, countless people struggle:

  • Intense life pressures

  • Constant emotional strain

  • Cross-cultural misunderstandings

  • Unresolved inner wounds

Many are trapped in cycles of anxiety, confusion, and pain — with no place to rest their weary hearts.

Bringing Lu Xia He Yi Healing to New York, A Healing Sanctuary Open to Everyone

That's why I'm dedicated to bringing the Lu Xia Healing Sanctuary to New York — allowing this unconditional healing energy to take root in a city that is both inclusive and resilient.

The core philosophy of Lu Xia aligns perfectly with New York's spirit:

  • No cultural barriers

  • No racial bias

  • No differences in belief

Here, there are no distinctions of:

  • Nationality

  • Skin color

  • Faith

  • Social class

Every visitor will receive equal, sincere, and genuine care. With a gentle and compassionate heart, I hope to accompany those in difficulty — helping them navigate life's confusion, ease inner suffering, release emotional burdens, and rediscover inner peace and the enduring vitality of life.
