Lexi Sim

Dancer

Lexi Sim is a versatile and dynamic performer originally from Calgary, Canada. A graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program in New York City, Lexi has developed a rich foundation in both classical and contemporary dance. Her training includes work with Cinzia Eremita and prestigious institutions such as Alberta Ballet, the National Ballet of Canada, Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Springboard X—each of which has helped shape her technical precision and expressive range.

Lexi’s performance career spans both experimental and traditional stages. She appeared at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center in An Eclectic Dance to the Music in Time, a groundbreaking project by visual artist Jacolby Satterwhite. Her touring credits include The Hole Story (The Tank), Nutcracker Dream (Emelin Theater), and We Are All Going to Be Fine (Pennsylvania, Abrons Arts Center & Dixon Place). She has also performed regionally in Subway Windows (The Chain Theater), The Magical Journey (Theater Row), Liminality (The Peggy at Ailey Citigroup Theater), and at the Carnival Choreographers Ball (Le Poisson Rouge), among many others.

Lexi is drawn to dance as a vehicle for storytelling and connection. Her motivation for joining the World Harmony Dance Collective stems from her love of cultural exchange and artistic collaboration. “I wanted to join this project so I could learn about other cultures,” she shares. “I love learning and sharing stories, and this is a beautiful opportunity to do that through movement.”

Her passion for dance, curiosity about the world, and commitment to inclusive storytelling make her a vital voice in the ensemble.
