Jingxi Li

Jingxi Li is a dancer, choreographer, and educator from southern China, belonging to an ethnic minority group where music and movement are a way of life where she grew up singing and dancing. Specializing in Chinese folk and modern dance, her work reflects a deep commitment to blending cultural heritage with contemporary expression. She have worked as a choreographer, performer, and now, a dance educator.

Through pieces like HE YI (Oneness), Jingxi reflects on her personal journey—The piece’s journey from pain to harmony mirrors her own path—blending folk traditions and modern dance to find balance and belonging. "Performing this work allowed me to embody the hope that even amidst struggle, unity and beauty can rise."
